After consulting some online authorities (incl. a New South Wales Department of Health advice on the subject) I have not found anything to suggest that RRV is communicable directly from person to person. All the material suggests that RRV is not contagious from close human contact, but can only be contracted via mosquitoes. This article should be edited to more clearly reflect this fact. I've reworded the article to clearly state that the virus is not contagious.
