- @ColleenNoel: You cannot post copyrighted text on Wikipedia, even if you are the copyright holder or have permission from the copyright holder. In short, a copyright owner cannot offer Wikipedia a one-time license for use. Rather, the copyright to the material has to be released – permanently and irrevocably – into the public domain or under a free copyright license that is compatible with Wikipedia's licenses. This is because Wikipedia aims to be freely distributable and copyable by anyone, so all content must be licensed for that purpose. You can learn more about this policy at Wikipedia:Copyrights. --Drm310 (talk) 14:53, 9 August 2016 (UTC)

- What I think should be changed:
- Why it should be changed:
- References supporting the possible change (format using the "cite" button):
I am the subject of this article and edited to update prior to understanding the rules (I haven’t edited before and wasn’t aware of this page about me). Now that I have understood them, I’m declaring a conflict of interest.
I didn’t create the original page and don’t know who did. I updated the page with some current information and two images. I also corrected information about what I work on that was not accurate and added one of the universities where I worked. I included new references to things I added.
If this is a problem, my apologies and I understand if you prefer to revert the page back to its original form.

- Thank you for making a conflict of interest declaration! I have gone over your edits, which seem non-problematic, and I've made a few minor changes. In the future, please go through the COI edit request process, but don't worry about not having understood before, there are a lot of confusing rules on Wikipedia :) Rusalkii (talk) 20:23, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
