Wikipedia's official guideline on the notability of academics states that "academics meeting any one of the following conditions (...) are notable: 1. The person's research has had a signficiant impact in their scholarly discipline, broadly construed, as demonstrated by independent reliable sources. 2. The person has received a highly prestigious academic award or honor at the national or international level" (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(academics)).

Robin Markwica meets both conditions:

This is evidenced by the major academic prizes awarded by the American Political Science Association (APSA) and the British International Studies Association (BISA), among others.

Furthermore, Markwica invented "emotional choice theory" - a new theory that has had a significant impact on the field of political science. This has been demonstrated by a range of independent reviews in established academic journals and by the fact that "emotional choice theory" already has its own Wikipedia entry: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emotional_choice_theory
