- Standardized chronology
  - Currently a difficult task due to the lack of consensus in the greater community over an accurate chronology, but definitely something to keep coming back to
  - In the meanwhile: it’s a good policy to have a survey of dates from sources in articles about time periods; for smaller mentions (ex. at the start of “Atenism under Akhenaten” here: “Amenhotep IV, the son of Amenhotep III, was crowned king c. 1353 BC.”) circa is your best friend
- Discussion
  - Creating a separate article for Predynastic Egypt from Prehistoric Egypt starting with the Badarian culture where many overviews begin
- Data sorting
  - Looking through sources for quotes and data that can be added to relevant articles

There are some good images at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Abousir that I'm unable to add. The article might be too dense at parts, and I'm not to keen on formatting either.

Reliability of the dates for Ptahshepses' life or influence

I have deleted the dates at the start of the article which suggest the duration of Ptahshepses life or influence. This span of years is exacatly the same as the dates for the reign of Nyuserre Ini, even though Ptahshepses is said to be the son-in law of Nyuserre Ini. Also, they do not reflect a reference to Ptahshepses being an official during the reign of Neferirkare Kakai (see Neferirkare_Kakai#Personality). --Chewings72 (talk) 04:43, 22 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
