Small fraction making fruiting bodies?
[edit]I disagree... Of all 4000 freshwater fungi described over 1000 of them make perithecia and pycnidia etc. Idk if i agree with the wording. It's a small matter, but I think that wording makes it look like there's almost no fruiting bodies, but that just isn't true. Sordariomycetes account for around 1/4 of all the freshwater fungi we know so far. This might change in the future. Not to mention the apothecia proucing fungi which live aquatically as well. If people disagree I won't mind, but I wanted to point that out.. MagnusVandbakk (talk) 13:08, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
