Surname in Nepal
[edit]This is one of the widely used Surname among Madhesis and other Nepalis, interchangeably used with surname Dev. This is also one of the 147 listed Nepalese caste by Madhesi commission of Nepal Government. (please refer to Caste No. 84 mentioned in PDF gadzette). Please consider mentioning Bihar and Nepal, one is a state and another is a country. So, please consider it generalizing with Surnames in India and Bihar, since it is not only an Indian surname, but also the enlisted surnames of Madhesh and native surnames of Koshi Province.https://surnam.es/nepal/p 2400:1A00:BD20:55EF:B945:63FB:F1F1:5784 (talk) 07:11, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
