River of ancient Greece?

[edit]

The statement that this "was a river of ancient Greece" seems confusing to me. Did the river dry up or disappear? Does it have a different name now? If the latter, we should say so (or just redirect this article to one on that river). If it is not known what actual river this name describes we should say that. Is the river purely mythological? If so we should say that. As it stands, the article is missing crucial context. -- Srleffler (talk) 07:39, 12 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

It appears to be the river now known as Rema Tsetsevitiko, which doesn't have a separate article. Frankly, not only should this article be set in the present tense (it's not like the river doesn't exist anymore), but it need severe expansion about the actual real-world river, not just some Bangui bits about legends and myths. oknazevad (talk) 17:17, 26 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Re: this edit I am reverting this sequence of edits because they do not comply with Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Capital letters. We do fix typography in names of sources and even in direct quotes. In particular, titles in all caps are to be reduced to title case, and Latin terms converted to italics. -- Srleffler (talk) 05:57, 13 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
