Chevron plots?

The article does not discuss Chevron Plots, which I think are an important practical method involved in the estimate of phi-values. This omission should be fixed.

The references 2 and 3 are in error - I could not find them upon searching the journals. Could the original author (or somebody elese) try to correct them?
