I'll be taking this review. Unfortunately this article is currently a long way from meeting the GA criteria. I will place this review on hold for 7 days to give a chance to address these issues, but unless substantial progress is made in that time, I will have to fail this. Hi @MCE89, Thank you for taking this for review. I will try my best to address this issue within the timeframe. Fade258 (talk) 01:45, 21 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
Unfortunately I am failing this review, as there is still a very substantial amount of work to be done to meet the GA criteria and there has not been significant improvement over the last 10 days. The only comment that has been addressed so far is fixing one instance of mis-capitalisation. Feel free to renominate once the comments have been addressed, and best of luck with the article. Prose and layout

  • There are issues throughout the article with punctuation, capitalisation, non-standard spelling, and unclear syntax. A thorough copyedit is needed. To give a non-exhaustive list of examples:
    • since it raised social expenditures on celebrations such as births, weddings, and funeral - missing punctuation, mismatched plurals
    • He believed that education brought knowledge to wash one's heart clean, which he considered was the only key to emancipation. - awkward expression
    • In 2009, In recognition of his enduring impact - capitalisation
    • He is known as Mahaguru - tense
    • For Falgunanda, emancipation is the Ultimate Truth to realize God. - spelling, capitalisation, tense
I fixed the above issue. Please review it. Fade258 (talk) 02:15, 21 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Referencing

  • While reference formatting is not part of the GA criteria, the article does need to give enough information to allow someone to find the sources and verify the article’s claims. Several references to offline sources are currently too vague for me to know where to begin locating them
    • "Nepal Government, Postal Services Department, Nepal Philatelic Bureau, Kathmandu" - Not enough information to identify this source
    • "European Bulletin of Himalayan Research, issues 25-28, Südasien Institut, 2004" - This reference is to four full issues of a journal, which consists of dozens of articles and many hundreds of pages (I still went through all of articles in all of these issues of the journal, and couldn't find anything matching the article's claims)
  • The sentences He is remembered for his socio-cultural and religious messages. His main messages included calling for a ban on animal sacrifice, since it raised social expenditures on celebrations such as births, weddings, and funeral are currently unsourced

Breadth

  • Most importantly, at 265 words, this article is very, very short for someone this significant and fails to cover important information about the subject. A search on Google Scholar and Google Books revealed a very large number of sources not currently used in the article. This article needs a major expansion to meet the GA standard for breadth.
