COI disclosure and question about the Experience podcast

[edit]

Disclosure first: I work for Granary Digital, the company that produces Experience, a podcast Kinderman co-hosts. I added a short section about it recently and it was rightly reverted as a COI edit. That was my mistake and I won't be editing the article directly again. Bringing it here instead.

Two questions for uninvolved editors, in order:

1. Does it belong on the page at all yet? The podcast launched in July 2026 and is a handful of episodes old. I can see the argument that it is undue weight against a career covering the BPS presidency, the DCP chairmanships and three books, and I'd rather ask than assume. If the consensus is "not yet", that's a fine answer and I'll leave it.

2. If it does, what sourcing would be sufficient? Everything I currently have is primary: the podcast's own site, the Apple and Spotify listings, and the hosts' own websites. I understand that isn't enough on a BLP. I'm not aware of independent secondary coverage at this point. If any turns up I'll bring it back here rather than adding it myself.

For reference, here is the sort of wording I had in mind, offered as a starting point rather than a request to insert it as-is:

Since July 2026, Kinderman has co-hosted Experience, a weekly podcast with the media trainer Hilary Jeffs, in which current news stories are discussed from a psychological perspective.

Grateful for any steer. ~~~~ Granary Digital (talk) 09:25, 9 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
