I believe a dedicated Wikipedia page for perimenopause is needed. Currently, it redirects to "menopause."

Perimenopause involves distinct hormonal changes and symptoms, differing from menopause. It affects many women, significantly impacting their quality of life. Medical issues affecting women often receive less attention and funding. This lack of research and awareness about perimenopause leads to under-treatment.
