[edit]The article here gives a slightly different slant on Warrington - that his "empire" (a somewhat grandiose term for just 11 schools, surely?) was built on remortgaging on each successive buyout of a previous school. Peter Shearan 05:32, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- and I can find no reference to either of the trustees mentioned - are they still extant? It would be interesting to know the names of the other nine schools, too. the website purporting to be the Allied Schools one, doesn't yield up its secrets! Peter Shearan 05:52, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
