I'm curious about several crucial aspects about the beetle species such as their enemies, mating patterns, and physiology. Especially since Pelidnota are known for their fast, curving flight in addition to regional differences in coloration, it would be interesting to explore the advantage or disadvantage these features have on selective pressure, genetic diversity, and behavioral responses.
