Commercially produced pectin is a white-to-light-brown powder, produced from citrus fruits

My local organics shop is offering both citrus pectin and apple pectin: https://pikowholefoods.co.nz/14-stocklist/146-baking-shop-packed

It does not show on that page but, the apple pectin's packaging has much more specific conditions of use than the citrus pectin.
