Official records in Bolivia name this people the Guarasu’we, which is also used in their self-representation. Records in Brazil use Guarasugwe. There are comparable numbers on both sides of the border, and academic usage is tending towards these names (or sometimes Wárazu in Brazilian Portuguese).
