Could we please de-spoilerize the opening section?
[edit]Sure, it's not precisely a big secret that the game is a metaphor, but this really doesn't reveal itself immediately; it's a slow burner. It's implied, sure, but not outright stated, in various early cutscenes. 181.115.9.181 (talk) 19:18, 12 May 2017 (UTC)
- WP:SPOILER We don't hide spoilers, and one of the things that this game is noted for is the metaphor it presents. --MASEM (t) 19:44, 12 May 2017 (UTC)
- Obviously the spoiler is significant, but so are the reveals in films such as The Crying Game, Psycho (1960 film), The Sixth Sense, and Fight Club... all of whose articles' lead sections do not specifically mention them. 181.115.8.181 (talk) 03:49, 22 May 2017 (UTC)
The game isn't set in Brazil nor is Quico Brazilian
[edit]I can't find any credible source stating the game is actually related to Brazil in any sense. The author is from Colombia and now lives in Canada, and the game's title is in Spanish and all characters in it have spanish names. Colombia also has favelas, they're not exclusive to brazil. This whole "brazilian" thing is just foreigners conflating all favelas and South American countries into being the "same thing". Stormy4221 (talk) 16:50, 1 April 2026 (UTC)
