- Yes. The word "turtle" is being used here as a generic term for any species of Testudines. While the word's usage is indeed subject to dialectal variations, the page Turtle already explains this. I don't know if a note would be necessary. Kiwi Rex (talk) 19:07, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
