Are the names used interchangeably? About 50/50?

So, the article for Paekche was moved from "Baekje". The former is starting to be used more than the latter, so would it make sense for the article to start with "Paekche (also known as Baekje)"? Barcodc (talk) 18:37, 15 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

I would say that the title should have been "Paekche" from the beginning. For some reason, there was a tendency to favor Revised Romanization of Korean (gives "Baekje" for 백제) among editors in the early years of Wikipedia, even though McCune–Reischauer (gives "Paekche" for 백제) has been the de facto standard in the international Korean studies community. ~2026-30149-67 (talk) 14:40, 19 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
