Identifying place as Village instead of town

As per Town#India criteria, the current page Padum doesn't meet the eligibility criteria of a town as its current mentioned population is mentioned as 1500-2000 only. Hence, suggest to move from Category:Cities and towns in Kargil district to Category:Villages in Kargil district. --Thaejas (talk) 14:53, 2 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
