I propose that Nip-up be merged into Kip-up. I think that the content in the Nip-up overlaps with the content of Kip-u. VTNC (talk) 16:10, 8 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Oppose: "Nip-up" is a very specific and well-defined action that can be found in dictionaries and other RS. On the other hand, "kip-up" appears to be a loosely defined term for a variety of different actions (possibly including nip-ups, though I have yet to find RS that supports that hypothesis). A merger should only be considered after cleaning up kip-up and resolving its RS issues, and then only if a content overlap still exists. Lambtron (talk) 17:59, 8 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

It is not apparent to me what the difference is between these practices. Even if a difference in definition can be established, it would seem better to discuss them on the same page given overlap in content. Daask (talk) 06:40, 3 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
