Could we split this into a new article called NickMusic?

[edit]

I don’t think Nick and NickMusic should be in the same article. 2601:18C:601:C720:1D7A:F4FB:D3BD:DE4E (talk) 15:29, 11 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

It isn’t notable to have a Wikipedia article, because there aren’t many reliable sources to it. Loc863 (talk) 15:58, 8 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Splitting proposal

[edit]

I suggest we split this into a new article called NickMusic 2601:18C:601:C720:79B2:C0DE:4DAF:530A (talk) 11:54, 27 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

NickMusic is not notable enough for an individual article. The section does not even have sources. WOndering-FLowers (talk) 23:56, 9 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

Blank and redirect proposal for Nick in the Afternoon page

[edit]

I propose blanking and redirecting the Nick in the Afternoon page to Nickelodeon#Former. Another editor has flagged the NITA page for lacking citations for verifications. I've performed a literature search and don't think there are enough citations to warrant a standalone page--I believe it would fail a notability/verification test and there is justification to delete. However, there are a variety of wikilinks to the page, so I think rather than deleting, the page just redirect to the programming block section on this page. Any opinions? 1977 and 1979

[edit]

So Nickelodeon was founded in 1977 but it was launched in 1979, but when TV channels are founded, their founding date most usually means when it was launched on air. Loc863 (talk) 15:57, 8 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
