Fwiw, pace the defensiveness of Wiki's Britlish community, the standard American spelling and the actual spelling used by the Grays themselves was with an -a. -114.91.69.148 (talk) 03:28, 9 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Both spellings appear to be used (a Google books search shows about 520-530 results for each spelling). I think this article is named with an "e" because that is the way the Handbook of Texas describes them. Karanacs (talk) 17:26, 9 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
