Inaccurate history of chadana clan

[edit]

The current text states that the Chadana name originated in the 14th century due to Nata Pratha. This is chronologically impossible and contradicts established royal records of Mewar. Historical Evidence: Rana Hammir Singh of Mewar was born in the late 13th century (c. 1291–1302 CE). Mewar royal records explicitly document his mother, Rani Urmila Devi, as belonging to the Chadana Chauhan clan from Unnava. A sovereign royal house like Mewar would only intermarry with an established, recognized Kshatriya clan. Because Rani Urmila Devi belonged to the Chadana clan in the 13th century, the clan identity clearly predates the 14th-century timeline currently attributed to Nata Pratha. The Chadana clan is an ancient offshoot of the Chauhan dynasty. I request that the unsourced or falsely attributed claim linking the origin of the Chadana name to 14th-century Nata Pratha be removed or corrected to reflect their true ancient Chauhan roots. ~2026-44523-82 (talk) 05:13, 13 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
