Monaco City → Monaco-Ville – Monaco City is an inaccurate literal translation of Monaco-Ville, yet Monaco-Ville remains widely in use in English-language sources. Book results show Monaco-Ville is used by English-language books. Monaco-Ville is also used by travel and tourism sources such as Trip Advisor, BBC Travel and Lonely Planet. While there's not a large amount of media coverage in English the British tabloid Daily Mirror published an article an article last year which used Monaco-Ville.
