[edit]OmniKill I did some minor changes to what Sticky started. I also added Greg and chaos as Site Developers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by OmniKill (talk • contribs) 2005-11-22T00:04:34 (UTC)
duckedtapedemon I don't think staff should be showed, because it changes, and none of us are really famous. (well, frosty was australia's smartest gamer...) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.27.13.110 (talk) 2005-12-13T05:50:23 (UTC)

It's cool to mention us though, because we are (Frosty, especially) famous! Methulah 02:04, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

Desura
[edit]Desura has recently gone into Beta testing. I was thing that a addition should be made to this page, or a new article should be started. Wojonatior (talk) 07:57, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
References
[edit]I stumbled upon this article and saw the notice about the missing references. I added some, I hope that they are fine for a start. --Saftorangen (talk) 19:00, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
Todo for my edit
[edit]I have added an approxamation to the current number of mods on the site. Request that the other stats be added. It should read "As of November 2010[update], Mod DB, according to its statistics, receives over (insert number) unique visitors a month, has over (insert number) users, and almost 13,000 modifications were registered." 75.169.119.184 (talk) 20:07, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
Bugs
[edit]I am having bugs that were described on a comment to a group page on the site as follows: My computers all seem to be having problems. When I go to game, group, or member pages(such as this one or the ZH page), it shows no mods. When I go to some mod pages(simmars for example), it shows no downloads when I know they are there. I know that they are still on the site, (they show up on searches) I can't find them on their appropiate pages. I use firefox on win xp SP 3 machines and IE on a 7 machine. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.169.119.184 (talk) 20:11, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
Article might not have NPOV
[edit]while its alot less obvious then others (Looking at you, TimeMap...) this article may not have NPOV as it seems to me like its trying to make itself look good.
Additionally, I wouldnt be suprised if a major editor of this article is in some may related to moddb Yooperhunter2022 (talk) 14:47, 16 March 2025 (UTC)

Logo image
[edit]The logo image in this article was replaced with File:ModDB logo.PNG, which is essentially the same as previous File:Mod DB logo.png, but higher resolution. The new logo got reverted by a bot since the file doesn't provide fair use rationale. I've reverted to the older file, since it already has a fair-use rationale, and is lower resolution (thus fitting better with minimal use policy), so I believe it is a better choice here. — daranz (talk) 17:56, 17 July 2026 (UTC)
Requested move
[edit]I propose moving to official and commonly used branding “ModDB” per WP:COMMONNAME and WP:OFFICIALNAME considerations.
Reason: The current title, Mod DB, appears to be a legacy spelling that is no longer the common name, only being used in the in the about us section and the name of the official “group”. ModDB is the official name used by the website i.e. “Join the ModDB community” and is the form overwhelmingly used by reliable independent sources, including major gaming publications such as PC Gamer, IGN, GameSpot, Rock Paper Shotgun, Eurogamer, and PCGamesN. Renaming the article to ModDB would better reflect both the site’s official branding and common usage, while the existing title would remain as a redirect.TheLev7 (talk) TheLev7 (talk) 00:53, 19 July 2026 (UTC)
