The primary technology used in Hatsune Miku concerts is not holograms but transparent screen. Moreover,concerts using LED screen are also held in Japan. The criticisms of "MIKU EXPO 2024" seem to stem simply from a lack of understanding and poor production choices. The full name "Hatsune Miku Expo" should be mentioned

Various news sources linked in the article call the event "MIKU EXPO" or "Miku Expo" in the title, but use the full name "HATSUNE MIKU EXPO" or "Hatsune Miku Expo" at least once in the body of the article. "HATSUNE MIKU EXPO" is also used for all official concert names on mikuexpo.com.

I would change the first sentence in the article to be: "Hatsune Miku Expo (stylized in all caps) is..."
I would also change the infobox name to Hatsune Miku Expo to reflect the official branding, but still respecting MOS:ALLCAPS. Susko3 (talk) 21:13, 10 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Specifics of MikuPa controversy

The MikuPa controversy was added to this article without providing a source that links it to the Miku Expo 2024 LED screens, so I've moved it to a footnote (I've not deleted it because I think it's useful information). Perhaps it can be briefly mentioned in the article, while still keeping the longer footnote.

But a bigger problem is that the cited source failed verification: the article claims that 5pb publicly apologised on Twitter, but I wasn't able to find that info in the linked source. From what I understand using machine translations, the president of the company assumed full responsibility for any criticism and misunderstandings. He explicitly denied resolving the criticism (eg. by apologising).
