I just finished a major edit of this article. I tried to tone down language to be more neutral, got rid of excessive subject headings, got rid of the lists of faculty and staff (inappropriate for a wikipedia article) and did some other cosmetic changes. --Lendorien (talk) 18:14, 1 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Although Michigan Lutheran Seminary, located in Saginaw, Michigan, has a large number of commuter students from the Tri-City area (Midland-Bay City-Saginaw), many of the students are boarders. This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered.
I am a representative of Michigan Lutheran Seminary and have a conflict of interest. I would like to request the removal of the sentence: 'In 2025, a teacher was charged for... One of numerous scandals faced by the synod.'
Rationale:
WP:NPOV / Editorializing: The phrase 'One of numerous scandals' is a subjective characterization and 'prose-pushing.' It uses the encyclopedia's voice to label events as 'scandals,' which is non-neutral.
WP:WEIGHT: This is a single legal incident involving one individual. Including it in the main school article gives it 'undue weight' relative to the school’s overall history and operations.
WP:CRIME: Per Wikipedia guidelines on criminal acts, we should not include specific crimes unless they have 'lasting significance' to the institution. A pending charge or recent event often lacks this historical perspective.
