Elm Brook.

[edit]

There was a recent edit, changing the description of Elm Brook from a tributary of the Concord mill brook, to correctly labeling it as a tributary of the Shawsheen River. But is the stream crossing Lexington Road actually Elm Brook? It's original research, but my examination of online and printed maps, topographical and otherwise, indicates that the stream passing under Lexigton Road is indeed a tributary of the Concord mill brook, and is NOT Elm Brook. The stream in quuestion, which is not named on maps, arises from the same wetland as Elm Brook. The stream runs south through Meriam Corner, and joins the mill brook flowing west to Concord Center and the Concord River. Elm Brook flows northeast to Bedford and the Shawsheen River, and does not cross the Battle Road. 172.56.194.14 (talk) 00:58, 20 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
