It is a spectrum?

If there are no specific human races (more scientifically refered to as human phenotypes) because all of those ideal types are actually blurring across a spectrum, does that mean there are actually no specific colors that can be assigned names because all of those colors are actually blurred across a spectrum? 2600:1700:6850:4750:FDE9:9BC9:217:F43C (talk) 14:01, 17 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Billybob the third1244: I'm very sceptical about pictures in a pseudo-scientific article because they may give the impression that there is something real behind scientific racism. I think some of the former pictures are tolerable because they are clearly marked by style and caption as outdated. BTW: Please use edit summaries, it makes collaboration easier. I totally understand why you think photos can make these outdated theories appear legitimate. However if that's your basis for removing the two images I added, then you should also remove the originals as well because there is no real difference between them. They are all black and white photographs, making it obvious that they are old. Your claim that the original photos are clearly presented as being outdated while the two I added are not doesn't hold up either. The Catalan man photo is of the very same style, captioned in the very same manner and taken from the very same source as the Irishman photo. You could make that argument somewhat for the Italian man photo since it doesn't have a frame, but I would still disagree, as it is also clearly an old photograph.

Either atleast one of my additions remain or all photos on this article be removed, those are the only two outcomes that I see making sense here.

@Billybob the third1244: I took a look at Caucasian race. Similar pictures there were removed at 17:57, 11 October 2025 by a very experienced user whose judgment I normally trust. So, I removed all the pics from this page. Rsk6400 (talk) 17:29, 12 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
