Merger proposal

It has been proposed that Lang Michener be merged into this article, as the firms have now merged under the McMillan LLP title.

Oppose pages at Wikipedia do not get merged (deleted) just because a firm merges with another (see: QNX). The history of these firms is what matters, not the current legal status-of-the-day. Ottawahitech (talk) 13:48, 8 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
Oppose other defunct law firms that merged in Canada still have pages - e.g., Ogilvy Renault. There is almost no overlap with McMillan's page. Its history belongs on Wikipedia. --MikeMan67 (talk) 20:16, 6 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
