No offence to the man or the wikipedian (whom doesnt seem to have a wikipage) but this article has a spam link and myspace as external links, contains nothing of real importance (his name isnt mentioned on the albums as far as i can find) and it was started by the man himself.... I agree that he shouldn't have made an article about himself, but it's a common newbie mistake for those who actually have made something of a mark on the world. Mark Tinley is pretty important in the Duran Duran world -- he was a key part of their music-making process for over ten years, and his name is well-known among those who follow the band (unlike most sound engineers/producers). Proposed update to biography and sources

I am the subject of this article and therefore have a conflict of interest, so I am not proposing to make these changes directly.

Over the past few months I have located a number of additional reliable sources which I believe would improve the article and provide a more balanced overview of my career.

In particular:

Early contributions to Sonic State, including authorship of articles numbered 2, 3 and 12 in the archive.
Numerous appearances on the Sonic TALK podcast.
Published books written under the name Mark Ty-Wharton, including The Logic Of Attraction, THE SYSTEM, Snails In Hyperspace and How to be Ai dle.
Additional information relating to my work as a music technologist, author and public speaker.

I have drafted a revised biography which places greater emphasis on music technology journalism, writing and public speaking, and corrects many inaccuracies. For example, I did not work on Duran Duran’s 1993 album The Wedding Album and would like to ensure the article accurately reflects my actual contributions.

I would be grateful if an independent editor would be willing to review the available sources and consider updating the article accordingly.
