Incorrect photograph and request to expand the biography and incorrect photo

I am the little daughter of Manush Romanov (Mustafa Aliyev). I believe the photograph currently used in this article does not depict my father and should be reviewed. If necessary, I can help identify an authentic photograph that is properly licensed or available for upload to Wikimedia Commons. In addition, the current article is incomplete and omits important aspects of his life and career. Besides being a politician and Roma rights activist, he was one of the most prominent Bulgarian-Turkish theatre directors of the twentieth century. He first graduated in Economics and later graduated in Theatre Directing from VITIZ (now the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts – NATFA, Sofia). Throughout his career, he directed theatre productions and worked extensively to defend the cultural, social, and civil rights of Roma, Turks, and other minority communities in Bulgaria. During the communist period, he actively opposed assimilation policies and fought against the severe ethnic, social, and cultural discrimination imposed on minorities. Additional information

During the final years of the communist regime led by Todor Zhivkov, Romanov became an active participant in the democratic opposition and the movement defending the rights of Bulgaria’s ethnic minorities. Following the democratic transition, he was elected to the 7th Grand National Assembly as a representative of the Union of Democratic Forces (SDS/UDF). As a Member of Parliament, he was among the public figures who participated in protests and hunger strikes against proposed legislation that failed to adequately protect the rights of Bulgaria’s ethnic minorities. Throughout his political career, he consistently advocated for equal civil rights, cultural freedom, democratic reforms, and the protection of the Roma, Turkish, and other minority communities. ~2026-42811-48 (talk) 07:32, 3 August 2026 (UTC)
