Hello, I am writing on behalf of Lucas Krupinski. The article currently uses the old spelling “Łukasz Krupiński”, but his professional and internationally used name is now “Lucas Krupinski”.

Please update the article to the correct spelling.

I have previously disclosed that I am connected to the subject of this article and am acting on behalf of Lucas Krupinski. I understand that this creates a conflict of interest, so I will not edit the article directly.

Just a polite follow-up on this request, which has now been open for approximately three months. I appreciate that the COI edit-request backlog is very large. The request is primarily intended to provide additional independent sources so that the single-source maintenance tag can be reviewed. Hi Pianofan642. It's great that you are following Wikipedi's conflict of interest policy.

One reason this request may have languished is because only the review of his recording (#1) and the news article (#7) are the kind of sources that Wikipedia considers reliable. The Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union's brief reference to Krupinski performing in a Paderewski gala at Carnegie Hall is the kind of trivia that Wikipedia generally avoids. Press coverage of a Carnegie debut with an orchestra or a solo recital is the kind of notability Wikipedia requires.

Based on the article, and the seven suggested sources to improve its defects, it appears that Krupinski may not meet Wikipedia's general notability guideline: "A topic is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list when it has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject."

A link to a concert listing at Wigmore Hall is not a reliable source that establishes the notability of Krupinski. His victory in San Marino is better documented by independent media coverage rather than by the competition's website.

If there are any more reviews or profiles of Krupinski, those should be added to this list of potential sources. As it stands, the impasse here is essentially that Krupinski's career hasn't yet generated significant coverage. Trumpetrep (talk) 20:50, 9 August 2026 (UTC)
