Renaming

[edit]

I think this article should be renamed to "2004 Hattiesburg murders" because Lisa is not only one who committed murderers and she isnt really more notable then her boyfriend. Definitely feels wrong that is article named after her and she isn't sole perpetrator here. DarkHorseMayhem (talk) 01:51, 28 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

In this case, I would consider Chamberlin more notable than her own co-accused here, because she is the only woman currently on death row in Mississippi, and the state itself has not executed a woman for more than 80 years since 1944. Her legal fight against the death penalty gained more attention and was more extensive compared to her boyfriend, so it was acceptable for Chamberlin to have her own standalone article. Her being only woman on Mississippi death row doesn't mean much if its only to say she is more notable then her boyfriend also looking at google search Roger Lee Gillett have a lot of sources that could be put if page is renamed. DarkHorseMayhem (talk) 13:06, 28 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
