COI disclosure + request to review paid-editing notice

[edit]

I am a representative of Lina Condes and I have a conflict of interest (WP:COI). I will not make substantive direct edits to the article and will use edit requests here instead.

I’m requesting help from uninvolved editors to review the article for neutrality and sourcing (particularly outside the lead), and to remove/trim any content that relies on primary/affiliated or promotional sources.

If, after review and any needed cleanup, the concerns are resolved, could an uninvolved editor please consider whether the “This article may have been created or edited in return for undisclosed payments” notice is still warranted, and remove it if appropriate?

Thank you.~~~~ Anilan88 (talk) 19:47, 22 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Edit request (COI): If an uninvolved editor is willing, could you please do the following cleanup to address neutrality/promo concerns:
  1. Remove any promotional wording (e.g., “renowned”, “internationally acclaimed”, “unique”, etc.) and keep descriptions strictly attributed to reliable sources.
  2. In the Career section, trim any résumé-style lists (exhibitions/appearances) that are supported only by primary/affiliated sources (artist/gallery/press release/event listing).
  3. Where possible, replace those with a smaller number of independently sourced highlights (major coverage/reviews/profiles).
  4. Ensure all biographical claims (birthplace/date, notable works, major exhibitions) are supported by high-quality independent sources; remove any that aren’t.
If helpful, I can propose exact replacement wording with citations for specific paragraphs. Thank you. ~~~~ Anilan88 (talk) 19:49, 22 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
If helpful, I can provide a proposed revised Career section and identify which statements can be supported by independent reliable sources (and which should be removed/trimmed). Please let me know which parts you’d like prioritized first (lead, career, Venice Biennale, etc.). ~~~~ Anilan88 (talk) 19:51, 22 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Edit request (COI): replace Career section
Could an uninvolved editor please replace the current year-by-year “Career” list with the following neutral summary (to avoid undue weight/resume-style listing):
Career
Condes has exhibited in Ukraine and internationally, including in Kyiv and in the United States. Her work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions and has been shown at art fairs and in public installations. She has also participated in events connected with the Venice Biennale and Art Basel Miami Beach.
