Ngayaw Ake → Lin Chih-Sheng (infielder) – The article inconsistently refers to him as either Ngayaw Ake or Lin Chih-sheng (the latter I just turned into a disambig, see Lin Chih-sheng). Right now both the article and references seem to use Lin more often than Ake, so I suggset renaming him to that format, although I have no preference. If this is kept, it would be good to rename the mentions of Lin in text to Ake (if it is moved, of course, this should be fixed in the other direction). - (Update: the disambig was deleted by @Dan arndt, so right now we still have a redirect pointing in the wrong direction...). Piotrus at Hanyang| reply here 07:12, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
- Comment The only other ambiguity is with Lin Chih-Sheng (politician), therefore the proposed title for this article should be Lin Chih-Sheng (baseball) per WP:NCBASE. 162 etc. (talk) 16:08, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
- Comment Taiwanese given names usually don't have the capital letter on the second syllable, so also consider Lin Chih-sheng (baseball) and Lin Chih-sheng (politician). 162 etc. (talk) 16:13, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks, I am fine with the revised name proposal(s). Piotrus at Hanyang| reply here 01:33, 4 June 2025 (UTC)
- Note that I did not express support for any move. "Ngayaw Ake" may well be correct per WP:NAMECHANGES; more evidence from recent secondary sources is needed. 162 etc. (talk) 16:22, 4 June 2025 (UTC)

- Support move to Lin Chih-sheng (baseball). This name seems to be more common among sources cited in the article and turns up far more solid sources in a web search. Toadspike [Talk] 01:30, 16 June 2025 (UTC)
