Lame fate (Strugatsky novel) → Lame fateLame fate – As far as I can tell, at the time of this writing, Wikipedia does not have any other articles called Lame fate. If there (at least at the time of this writing) is no other article called Lame fate, why disambiguate this article's title as Lame fate (Strugatsky novel) instead of just naming it Lame fate? Viktor vs. Victor (Banev)? What is the correct English transliteration of the name? The article currently uses Viktor, but I believe the correct spelling should be Victor. -- Andrew Krizhanovsky (talk) 16:41, 11 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

The correct spelling in Russian is Russian: Виктор, or Viktor. It indeed is often Latinized as Victor, and it is used in the (only) Englih translation, so the spelling must be changed here. --Altenmann >talk 16:22, 13 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
