Section for Major Temples

[edit]

@Shreyag97 I see you have reverted my changes with no edit summary. I had noted in the edit summary the reason for my removal of the section "removing section for Major Temples - mostly unsourced indiscriminate list - Seems Category: Lakshmi temples exists for such collection". Want to see your thoughts on why you have reverted my changes. Asteramellus (talk) 23:32, 26 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Rukmini not listed as an affiliation?

[edit]

Just wondering why Rukmini isn’t listed as an affiliation of Lakshmi despite being considered as such in the Mahabharata, Bhagavata Purana, Vishnu Purana, Padma Purana? She’s specifically referred to as the complete incarnation, similar to Sita. I see that Radha has been listed as an affiliation which can be debated but is still understandable to list. You are correct, but like I mentioned, she is considered the complete incarnation of Sridevi. Satyabhama, for example, is the incarnation of Bhudevi and Nagnajiti is Niladevi. Of course, they are all Lakshmi incarnations, but the complete incarnation, as Narayan came to Earth as Krishna, Lakshmi came to Earth as Rukmini. Lalira9 (talk) 07:32, 13 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
