Newseum presidency

[edit]

Restored the Newseum presidency and ouster references, which, while not positive, are appropriate biographical references, properly cited. Kazari (talk) 19:55, 28 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello - This is Ken Paulson. I'm writing to share some thoughts about edits you've made to the Wikipedia entry profiling me, apparently over a number of years.
I've been licensed to practice law in Illinois and Florida since 1978. You can't be a member of either state's Bar unless you're licensed. It's not a bar association. I did notify both states that I plan on retiring from the practice of law and I am currently listed as retired.
For what it's worth, the final Freedom Sings show was in May of 2024. So it's not touring...
My primary concern is the use of the footnote to describe my departure from the Newseum ("Paulson out"). My understanding is that Wikipedia's preference is to cite the best available source. That would be the Freedom Forum's press release, which the blogger used as his sole source. My transfer within the foundation meant a move from being the president of the Newseum to president and CEO of the First Amendment Center with an extended contract. I'd appreciate it if you would adjust the citation. Ken Paulson (talk) 19:56, 26 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Freedom Sings

[edit]

The Freedom Sings references are no more recent than 2012 on http://mtpress.mtsu.edu/freedomsings. You should not indicate that it's still touring unless a more recent citation is made. Kazari (talk) 19:55, 28 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

State bars

[edit]

Paulson is indeed a member of the state bars of Florida and Illinois. He is NOT licensed to practice law in those states. This reference seems irrelevant.  Preceding unsigned comment added by Kazari (talkcontribs) 21:28, 28 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
