Where is the
[edit]Early life section? :) 86.187.169.130 (talk) 22:49, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
- There is not an early life section. CT55555(talk) 23:11, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
- @86.187.169.130: If there are no reliable sources to describe one's early life, then there's nothing to be written about it in Wikipedia. In Wikipedia we even have some articles for famous people for which we don't even have their birth dates. Wikipedia is not intended to be a personal biography of anyone and everyone. The small amount of early life information so far has been put under the section "Personal life". Grorp (talk) 00:41, 3 February 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Jon Eugene Minadeo was born on December 15 1982 he is of Scottish, Germanic, Swedish, English and Danish ancestry Logan28262647 (talk) 15:26, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
- Do you have any reliable source for that? For all we know, his name ends with a vowel and he worked for an Italian-American family restaurant. Midwood123 (talk) 21:11, 5 March 2023 (UTC)
- The Miami New Times article referenced doesn't provide a source either, simply an assertion. Anyone familiar with Minadeo's opinion of Mexicans would know that the article is trolling him, which was clearly the intent of the editor. TomWaterson (talk) 17:01, 11 July 2023 (UTC)

- DNA test results themselves can be considered a primary source of information, but not necessarily a primary source for specific relationships or events.
- The raw DNA data is a direct representation of your genetic makeup, inherited from your ancestors, and is therefore primary information. WOWsuchgoy (talk) 04:52, 3 July 2025 (UTC)

- No. I don't know if it is him and I assume it is copyright. And it's a very unusual photo to use for a biographical article. CT55555(talk) 13:50, 21 March 2023 (UTC)

Minadeo was actually born to a Jewish mother. He knows this as evidenced by a 23 and me DNA test. He had a rough relationship with her that was riddled with abuse. This is what some think ultimately led to his self hate. 2601:281:8281:E940:3D96:87E6:5369:6B1E (talk) 00:51, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Awhellnawr123214 (talk) 01:07, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
Minadeo Recent Activities in The Republic of Ireland
[edit]A report today (2 August 2024) in The Irish Times links Minadeo to the recent and ongoing violent activity of extreme far right groups in the Republic. These groups are targeting sites earmarked to house asylum seekers. The sites have been burnt, groups have rioted and attacked police officers. The riots have so far been directed at new arrivals in Eire. Interestingly, there is a slant towards a 'united Ireland' in the on-line rhetoric of the FR groups. 2A00:23C8:4E01:5F01:B516:418B:6794:C255 (talk) 08:02, 2 August 2024 (UTC)

Change "Mexican-American family background" to "Scottish-American family background". According to Mr. Minadeo's DNA test, he does not have any Mexican ethnicity in him whatsoever.

“Mexican American”
[edit]i think the part of him being of mexican american decent should be removed, the only source is an article which briefly mentions it and doesn't elaborate and his surname is of italian origin Virolac414 (talk) 07:31, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
- If you are trying to correct others please inform yourself properly before making any assumptions of his name. It is in fact Portuguese not Mexican or Italian. ~2025-38937-81 (talk) 04:57, 7 December 2025 (UTC)

Edit Request for Wikipedia Page: Jon Minadeo II Page Section: Early Life or Background Current Text: “Minadeo grew up in Novato, California, where he lived with his mother in various apartments. He dropped out of Novato High School in the early 2000s and later received a GED. He worked at his grandmother’s restaurant, Dinucci’s Italian Dinners, in Valley Ford. His family has a Mexican-American background.[7]” Proposed Revision: “Minadeo grew up in Novato, California, where he lived with his mother in various apartments. He dropped out of Novato High School in the early 2000s and later received a GED. He worked at his grandmother’s restaurant, Dinucci’s Italian Dinners, in Valley Ford. Recent DNA test results shared by Minadeo indicate a European ancestry, with 46% Germanic Europe, 40% Scottish, 7% England and Northwestern Europe, 3% Central and Eastern Europe, 2% Denmark, and 2% France, totaling 100% European heritage. This evidence, presented by Minadeo on July 2, 2025, via an X post and an Ancestry.com screenshot, challenges the earlier claim of a Mexican-American background.[7][8]” Rationale for Change: The current statement asserting a Mexican-American background for Minadeo’s family is based on limited historical context and may reflect anecdotal or unverified family history. On July 2, 2025, Minadeo posted on X (https://x.com/HTgiga_chad/status/1940484930594853335) a DNA test result from Ancestry.com (https://www.ancestry.com/dna/origins/share/6784ba22-a47b-4f70-a6cf-4cc8d5275eca) showing a 100% European ancestry, which he uses to refute claims of Mexican or other non-European heritage. This primary source provides new evidence that warrants an update to reflect the discrepancy. The proposed revision maintains the original context while incorporating the DNA evidence, presented neutrally to allow readers to assess its validity. Given the self-published nature of the X post and DNA link, additional independent verification may be beneficial, but as of the current date (July 2, 2025), this is the most direct evidence available from Minadeo himself.
