[edit]I don't think a citation is needed for the left-handedness of a person if the article shows them playing a left handed guitar. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.62.21.126 (talk) 10:41, August 24, 2007 (UTC)
I don't even know why it should go in the first paragraph. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 159.182.1.4 (talk) 20:19, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

- I would like to see more about his political views, especially in they are included in the lyrics of his music. Also would be nice to have a couple of examples of the descriptions given for his musical style from songs he wrote. Tiamut (talk) 10:58, 20 December 2025 (UTC)
Reorganisation
[edit]I think this article needs to be reorganised a bit. At the moment, the sub-headings under the heading "life music and career" are a bit jumbled, and I'm not sure all of these paragraphs need their own sub-heading. I'm also not sure a heading for political beliefs is justified in this case. I propose that this be-reshuffled to better match similar music biographies which have been marked 'good'. For example, the article on Jon Coghill is a good example of a musician biography for a musician who is mostly notable for his contributions to one particular band.
The new organisation could be something like:
- Lead
- Biography
- Early Life (family, universities attended)
- They Might be Giants (perhaps this should be a summary of They Might be Giants with a main article link?)
- Work outside of They Might Be Giants (MonoPuff, music video direction, etc.)
- Music style
- Equipment
- Personal Life (marriage, car accident)
There are also some improvements that could be made to the content, but we can go through section by section after its reorganised. Barthes Simpson (talk) 08:50, 30 August 2026 (UTC)
