@Cheese240: Hi, welcome to DYK. I saw the nomination and had a look at the section on the "Situation of the Jews".

Firstly, could you look at the wording? I don't think it reflects the POV of the source which says "the Fascist regime responded equivocally" and "Italian military authorities generally refused to participate". More sourcing would be useful.
Secondly, could you reconsider the hook? It should be about the article subject and it seems to be about Italy in WW2 in general. Also the hook is sourced to a New York Times article, which is about a symposium sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, so I don't think it is a good source for the role of the (WW2) Italian state in the persecution of Jews.
