• Excellent articles, PCN02WPS. Fresh and long enough. Fantastic sourcing. Spot checks show no close paraphrasing. The proposed hooks are a bit underwhelming, though. I see potential in both articles for much more interesting hooks, though the brothers might be separated (or not). Would you mind giving us some more options?   • @Surtsicna: sure thing - if we don't go with this fact in particular, I think it makes more sense to split them up, so here's my suggestions for that:
  • Paul ALT0: ... that the Pennsylvania College for Women changed its name to Chatham College during the administration of Paul R. Anderson?
  • Paul ALT1: ... that some students and faculty members staged a walkout protest during Paul R. Anderson's inaugural address at Temple University?
  • Paul ALT2: ... that the faculty senate of Temple University voted to demand president Paul R. Anderson's resignation in 1970? — a tiny bit intentionally misleading since only 10% of the senate participated in this particular vote, but it's technically true and could generate clicks
  • Hurst ALT0: ... that Hurst Robins Anderson introduced U.S. president John F. Kennedy before the latter's "American University speech" in May 1963?
  • Hurst ALT1: ... that American University hosted U.S. presidents Dwight D. Eisenhower and John F. Kennedy during the administration of Hurst Robins Anderson? Eisenhower, Kennedy
  • Hurst ALT2: ... that American University grew from 500 to over 3,000 full-time students and doubled its faculty size during the 16-year presidency of Hurst Robins Anderson? students, faculty

PCN02WPS, I would go with ALT1 for Paul, but maybe say "about 200" instead of "some". It might have a greater impact. For Hurst I would pick ALT2, which is not only (for me) the most interesting hook but also the one most focused on him. What do you say? Surtsicna (talk) 20:11, 28 July 2025 (UTC)

Drew Memorial Fund", which gets like two relevant results on google so I don't really want to name it - tried to settle on a compromise since this is the extra stuff I'd have to include to contextualize if I did name it. Anderson received criticism from congressman Gordon H. Scherer of the House Un-American Activities Committee but denied that he had received any pressure to make this decision: What was Scherer criticising exactly?
