Hoping to improve this

I am hoping to improve this article. I am going to try and organise the 'Works' section into three sections: 'Tattooing', 'Books', and 'Other Works'. I am also going to try and see if I can find working links and probably add a few more sources. I am quite new to all this so if anyone has any thoughts please do share them.

I don't mean disrespect, but after reading the article I still don't know why this guy needs a Wikipedia page. What has he achieved that makes him more notable than other tattoo artists? He's arguably Japan's most famous living tattoo artist! I'm trying to do more citations to show the scope of his achievements: but they do feature a large number of apprentices from all over the world, a large number of books published, and global exhibitions of his work Coventry Weirdo (talk) 23:43, 10 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Completed a major copyedit of the page. While doing so, I got interested in the subject and did a quick Google search; there was a ton of readily available information about Horiyoshi III that wasn't in the article! So, I added it, and added appropriate references, etc. What the article is really missing at this point is pictures. I couldn't find any pictures of Horiyoshi III's work that were licensed appropriately for inclusion. Macwhiz (talk) 02:12, 23 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
