I don't know the proper maintenance template to use here, but a lot of footnotes to ref ID ":2" need to be consolidated; currently there are 56 footnotes for it, most of which are consecutive. – gabldotink [ talk | contribs | global account ] 18:40, 9 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Interview Methodology

In the ‘interview methodology’ part of the page, I think it would be helpful to share more details of the reluctance some witnesses had in sharing their experiences. The section describes Desbois as avoiding any influence on stories, but I think sharing that some interviewees were still scared to share their experiences many years later is important to the narrative. It gives readers more information on how traumatizing the deaths were, regardless of whether witnesses personally knew the victims or not. An example of this can be found in chapter 16.
