I think Rackspace Cloud, 3Tera AppLogic (the industry's first grid operating system and commercially available cloud computing platform ) both launched before AWS's 2006 launch, Elastra (2007, pioneered descriptive tools), Rightscale (founded in 2006), Layered Technologies (founded in 2004), Enki (2006) and Joyent (2004, hosted MLB site), Sun Cloud (2006, of Sun Microsystems which was a big player) deserve mention.~2026-36421-83 (talk) 03:39, 23 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
