• Hi Pbritti (talk), review follows: article moved to mainspace on 23 April and exceeds minimum length; sources used look to be reliable; I have amended a couple of dates to match the source and tagged a few places citations are needed, if you could review; I didn't pick up on any overly close paraphrasing from the online sources; hook fact is interesting enough and stated in the article, cited offline so will have to AGF; image is OK and looks appropriately licensed; a QPQ has been carried out. Unfortunately, your affirmation (and all the rest) is completely wrong. The title has not bien copied from www. buchfreund.de, but from the book in my bookcase! Hermann Heuvers (1890-1977) was the second child of a family of seven children in Dreierwalde (Kingdom of Prussia, today district of Hörstel/ Westphalia, Germany). He had two sisters and four brothers. His eldest brother Aloys Heuvers (1888-1967 > de.wikipedia.org) was my grand-uncle who married a younger sister of my grand-mother, both born in Rheine-Dutum (Westphalia). His brother Franziskus Heuvers (1899-1966) was as Fr. Guntram a Dominican priest. His youngest brother Konrad Heuvers (1902-1964 Palo Alto) lived in California. His unique son Konrad Johann Heuvers (1940 Stockton, CA-2020 Frankenmuth, MI) was professor of mathematics at Michigan University. He translated Hermann Heuvers' poetry in English. Dear Mr. M.A. Spinn, I am an old (no excuse, just a fact) lady from north-western Germany (> User page) who, respecting the Wikipedia laws and rules, wanted to share her knowledge about Hermann Heuvers with English speaking Wikipedia users.

Recently, you removed nearly in total my contributions. I contest your decision.

Hermann Heuvers was not only a remarquable personnality mediating as a Jesuit priest between the Orient and the Occident, but he was also a poet, screenwriter and translator. Other works deal with political topics, with Art, music and movie.

In 1941, after the Tripartite Pact (1940) and Pearl Harbour (1941), he abdicted by himself from his fonctions as the Sophia University's chancellor (1937-1941), because of "shintaisei", the new political order ("Vierzig Jahre in Japan 1923-1963, Tokyo, 1965, p. 57: "der neue Kurs der Regierung"). Then he had to hide himself until the end of Second World War. After the war he was awarded by the tennō with the Supreme Order of the Chrysanthemum, Japan's highest order.

Your justifying list is a long list I can't totally accept.

"Unencyclopedic" (??), "mistranslated (where?), "broken English" (where?), "uncited" (??), "mispelled" - every day, thousands of typos are corrected, "unclear relevance/notability" (??).

My contributions

1. were made in good faith; 2. are relevant and memorable; 3. informed the Wikipedia users about important references and bibliography items; 4. informed in a largest way (his screenplay on stage in the Vatican in 2017...); 5. increased the article; 6. contributed to inform about Hermann Heuvers' widespread interests; 7. contributed to honor Hermann Heuvers' work.

Therefor I request my contributions to bee restored.
