Italian Swiss Colony Warehouse removed

[edit]

This article originally credited Geilfuss with the Italian Swiss Colony Warehouse on Battery next to Levi Plaza, and claimed it had been demolished.

This is a claim from an application form for the National Register of Historic Places, cited for many of the buildings listed:https://sfplanning.s3.amazonaws.com/commissions/hpcpackets/2011.0006U.pdf

The Italian Swiss building still stands, and when I looked for more information I found the article below, from the website "Noe Hill dot com", which claims (citing a 1976 resolution by the City Planning Commission) that the building was designed by "Hemenway and Miller": https://noehill.com/sf/landmarks/sf102.asp

Seemed reason enough to remove that building from his credits. Danwroy (talk) 03:37, 26 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
