Anyone know the reason, and/or have a source, for why the name is shown in Bulgarian as 'Gursel Veli' and in Turkish as 'Veli Gürsel'? AFAIK, both countries follow the so-called Western name order of firstname + lastname. In Turkish Veli is (at least mostly, if not exclusively) first name, which suggests that the Turkish 'Veli Gürsel' is in the Western name order. But why has this been reversed for the Bulgarian name as 'Gursel Veli'. What I'm asking is, is that really the case, or is there a mistake in this article — for example, could it be that the only source shown is listing players as you would in a directory etc., with surname first (like 'SHEARER, Alan' etc.)? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:34, 5 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
