Chinese names

[edit]

Various English sources incorrectly call these "Hulianwang", which literally means just "Internet" in Chinese and probably comes from abbreviating 互联网系列卫星 (Hùliánwǎng xìliè wèixīng, "internet series satellite"). Guowang seems to the most common accurate name and we should prefer that. Asamboi (talk) 00:58, 22 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Launch failure

[edit]

@Abdullah1099: Can you expand on why you removed the launch failure from the list? I understand the cargo on the Zhuque flight remains classified, but we do have reliable sources like SCMP reporting that "the lost payload is widely believed to consist of four experimental satellites for Guo Wang". I've restored the entry for now, but maybe we should add a footnote or something. Asamboi (talk) 21:13, 19 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

I seen that on Gunter's Space Page. Cargo moved from Hulianwang Jishu Shiyan to GuangChuan and is at last confirmed Abdullah1099 (talk) 02:22, 20 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Removing the SCN and COSPAR ID columns

[edit]

I think it's reasonable to remove these columns, these are just database ID numbers that provide no information about the satelites, especially considering they are empty for all but 1 row. Does anyone think this shouldn't be done? Mikivikipeditor (talk) 18:36, 15 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Attempting to Change Q4 2025 results in "Script error: The function "1= bar chart" does not exist."

[edit]

I am unsure why this happens. It is at least present in the visual based editing. The error comes up when changing the last x value to anything other than it's current value (41). Puffy310 (talk) 06:13, 26 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
